Aztec Chocolate and the Mexican Flag

We've had a busy Aztec sort of week.

We looked into the origins of the Mexican flag:
Green for Independence and Hope
White for Catholicism and Unity
Red for Unity and the spilled blood of fallen heroes
The eagle on a cactus with a snake in its mouth represents the Aztec origins of Mexico city.

We had a go at the Aztec ball game - only knees, elbows, hips and head to get the ball through a hoop.

After our chocolate tasting fun last week, we delved further into the chocolate world, so valued by the Aztecs, to help with...

...sums...

...Aztec pyramids...

...fractions...

 ...a chocolate survey...

 ...chocolate lollies...

...and chocolate brownies.

YUMMA!!
