Class of 2022

Daughter 2 has graduated with a US High School Diploma from Seton Home Study School!

The Diploma has been a five year endeavour and we are SO proud - straight As too!

We flew to Virginia in the US for her graduation where we stayed with my brother and his family for the weekend. Great times!

Monkey Girl finally got to meet all her online friends with whom she has been studying alongside since 2017.

I came home after five days and Monkey Girl stayed on in the States for three weeks. The world is your oyster, Darling!

So far she's been to New York, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware and Maryland. At the time of writing she will be celebrating 4th July tomorrow and then she will be home later in the week.

While she was away she found out she passed her Advanced Two Royal Academy of Dance exam, the last ever ballet exam with the R.A.D., and she now has the honour of having the letters R.A.D. after her name.

She's off to Germany for two weeks in August to attend an international peace camp and then University in September.

Under the Sea and The Seaside

Sunbaby's latest project began with a look at the oceans and life under the sea. As we crept into July and some lovely hot weather, it naturally morphed into an exploration of life at the seaside too.

It included lots of craft, initial sounds and making phase 1 words, counting, addition, subtraction, water play, some cooking, role playing and outside play. We've had two beach visits thwarted due to the weather but we're hoping to go soon!
