In between our thematic units we do activities and extra random bits of learning. It's tricky to collate these and record them so I often just squeeze in extra blog posts about it all. Here's an update on just that (minus all their extra curricular clubs now we are back in Lockdown):

A late reader, relative to his sisters, The Boy is working steadily through the last stages of Reading Eggspress. Good job, my Boy!
Everyone has been helping tidy and clean up the house before we move.

Science experiments
Gymnastics and trampolining lessons started after Lockdown and then stopped again with Lockdown Two. It's not ideal because homeschoolers need these clubs and activities. But we can do this!
The Boy has been reading and reading, and listening to hundreds of audio books! He loves audio books and when I asked them to list which ones he'd listened to so I could add them to this blog his eyes nearly popped out because he's listened to so many! Here are some:

Taekwondo started and stopped again. Ballet started and stopped again. Tap and modern started and stopped again. Cadets sort of happened with two weekends of sailing. Rugby started and stopped again. Still no Storytime or Playgroup for Sunbaby.
The big girls continue to study extremely hard and I'm grateful that their online home study school has not been negatively affected by Covid. The education they are receiving is something I would recommend to everyone! Keep at it, my girls. x
The Boy is also learning how to put furniture together. He's been baking, bike riding and taking lots of photographs with his new camera. Lockdown has seen him spending lots of time with his cousin on Facetime doing card magic tricks.
Panda Girl cut her hair for charity and continues to draw. She's taken a serious interest recently in interior design and has been helping me with design choices for the new house. Monkey Girl draws, reads and dances, as always.
Ballet Girl is having private tutoring. She completed three exams in the last fortnight and is focusing now on her upcoming SAT exam which she will sit next year.
We are looking forward to life going back to normal but in the meantime, good stuff :)
