A project all about Eire and Northern Ireland. My DNA results show I am 58% Irish, so the children will have significant Irish blood in their veins. I thought this would be an enjoyable cross curricular project to take us up to Spring.
Sunbaby had a great time choosing her work from an array of Irish-themed activities.
The Boy started with a timeline of Irish history. It's a poignantly sad history, full of English suppression, and important to have a basic understanding of, if we are to strive for peace. He will use the timeline for the focus of his work.
