Panda Girl and The Boy finished a week's worth of astronomy. I had some great resources I'd saved for a while but I often find that some children's workbooks, fact books, worksheets etc can be so jam-packed with imagery and visually noisy facts and charts that often the interest wanes before it has had a chance to get going. So I spent HOURS cutting up and re-sticking three workbooks x2 into one simpler and visually calmer project pack for the children to get stuck into. It included instructions for experiments, reading comprehensions questions, fact checking quizzes and internet suggestions.
I think they had fun :)
