The Boy had a Birthday!
Bear Grylls quotes all the way down to breakfast.
The Boy's second birthday in Lockdown meant no friends again, but he had a great day fulfilling a 'Bear Grylls mission' to build a waterproof and windproof a-frame den complete with seating area. He had a two hour time limit and he had to leave us a trail so we could track him down after the two hours. We had hot soup and bread rolls in the den and then home for cake and ping pong.
Back to the grindstone!
The Boy got a much-wanted science kit for his birthday. He's since had a great time following the instructions to progressively work through some exciting experiments.

FINALLY!! Allowed out with another household. Cousins it is!

Lockdown is easing. For the Boy, rugby is back, he's been measured for his new cadet uniform, he started Forest School once a fortnight, he's restarted guitar, our annual safari park tickets have been extended and he's met with friends. We are getting there!
