Lockdown has been an opportunity for me to ponder our lives, the choices we've made and our plans for the future. It's been difficult for the children to go from so many extra-curricular activities to none at all, but we have tried to maintain a sense of purpose and routine.
The three older girls have been continuing with their studies and exam preparation so no change there, but their lack of evening cabin-fever breaks has been a challenge. Lockdown homeschooling is not homeschooling! Our children need their activities, friends, breaks, competitions, challenges, sports, camps and outings.
Serious studying has happened and that has been a blessing all round, with some catching up and others getting ahead of schedule, but we are all looking forward to normality and good times!
In no particular order, here's a bunch of stuff we've been up to over the past six months of Lockdown.
Monkey Girl has decided she's ridiculously good at drawing. I mean, whaaaaat?! Apparently it's not finished.
We hand-reared a gosling
I got my first adult!
More birthdays!
When the parks reopened we went a little crazy visiting them!
