Our last few days before the summer's out included Pointe shoe fitting for my beautiful daughters.

Our Summer Holiday is coming to an end. 

We've been bug-hunting with the Forest Centre rangers.

We picked a whole bunch of local blackberries...

...and the children learnt how to make a blackberry and apple crumble.

Pooh Sticks. The annual pooh stick competition outside the dance shop where Mummy annually weeps for her financial loss during the dance gear purchase for the new term. Complicated but true.

Royal Marines Camp

My Wonderful Ballet Girl spent seven days at a Royal Marines Cadet Camp. She came home stronger, braver and exhausted.

She went with Papa who is Detachment Commander for the Royal Marines Cadet Corp, part of her own Sea Cadet Unit.

Papa won 'Best in Troop' for the adult cadre.
