Advent invariably means we are heading for some sort of virus or disastrous moment. True to form Ballet Girl slipped on ice and broke her sternum, The Boy had two weeks of tricky asthma episodes, all the children got flu, and we went through two sick bugs! Fortunately, we had a rather unseasonal World Cup to keep us resting, and we did some craft in between.
