An update on my Boy

He's doing really well with his Grade 8 Classical Curriculum. Two terms in and ready for his third quarter. Dyslexic thinkers for the win! 

He's been teaching himself guitar since we gave up on guitar teachers several years ago. It suits him much better and he plays for the love of it now.

Fresh air

Alongside his US High School Diploma preparation year, he's also studying an Astronomy GCSE

Last month he won Gold in District Individual Piping and District Team Piping. He's off to Area next! 

His quiet study space 

He's also working hard on his red tag Taekwondo belt, and he's off on rugby tour next month with his team. In between it all, he swims, has joined the gym, and attends Royal Marines Cadets twice a week. He's booked for Cadets Summer Camp, is starting his Duke of Edinburgh bronze, and he's looking to complete his first offshore voyage before the year is out. 

Spring - Part 1

Sunbaby started a Spring project in February because we could feel the Spring vibes in the air! C'mon sunshine!

And a visit to the local pond - a little overgrown but Sunbaby found some water to explore.

Kwazi from the Octonauts continued Sunbaby's water cycle work

The sun shines on water (puddles, rivers, ponds, lakes, oceans) causing evaporation.
