All four children spent every morning this week at a church-run Space Academy Holiday Club.  They had a great time and I managed to get some housework done! We decorated our board with all the things they created over the week:

A few extra bits we managed to fit in:

Monkey Girl loves her joke books.

Ballet Girl made lunch - she did an awesome job!

A bit of beading

A trip to the farm

The Boy was promised this recycling truck for being so good in hospital with his asthma.  He has spent hours playing with it...

...and we even made some rubbish to go in it :)

We made frogs at our favourite Forest Centre...

...which included some cool story-telling

Ballet Girl made some biscuits for her cousin's first Birthday...

...which we celebrated in style :)

A few extras during our 'rest' week after The Boy's asthma flared up:

Making pizza with Mummy

Ballet Girl made some tie-dye t-shirts

Panda Girl worked on her mosaic

Go away snow!  Bubbles with our lovely elderly neighbour.

Snack-outing

The Boy loves his cars

A morning of art

Holy Week
Holy Week was disrupted by The Boy having a hospital trip after an asthma attack.  We've rested with him all week and listened to lots of story-tapes.  Here's a little of what we managed this week:

Holy Week wheels

The Boy's tomb

A bit of fun - mostly made by The Boy while he rested.

Easter bonnet

Rabbits :)

...all four played with this the entire morning :)

I wanted to start Holy Week early with the children to give them time to absorb it all, ready for next week, when we will be on Easter break. Here's a little of what we've been up to:

Ballet Girl experimented with silhouette water-colour painting.

Monkey Girl mixed water colour and oil pastels.

The Boy knuckled down to some Easter worksheets I made for him.

Palm weaving

The Boy used some Holy Week stickers to create a picture.  He was sad that Jesus was hurt....

...so he gave Jesus some bread... :)

Panda Girl made this wreath

And Monkey Girl made this one :)

The Boy goes to pre-school and Nursery twice a week.  His sisters joined him for an Easter-egg hunt at his little village school :)

What better way is there to spend an evening but to make word-searches...? :)

Scratch crosses

Cute stained glass window pictures made by all four

I made myself snigger with this one...

...but the kiddies loved making them!
