District Combined Regatta

Saturday was all about my Royal Marine Cadet Corps husband and my Sea Cadet daughters at their District Combined Regatta.

Monkey Girl's Junior Rowing team won both their races.

There she is in the blue hat. I'm so proud of her.

Proud baby brother.

And delicious baby sister.

Ballet Girl was in the Power Boat Handling team.

I had NO idea she was able to do all these amazing things on a power boat! Proud, proud Mama.

A whole bunch of trophies for the unit. Well done guys!

Half Term Chillin'

My big girl went to HMS Raleigh for the week on a Naval Acquaint Course with the Sea Cadets. She had an incredible time and came home absolutely exhausted.

Meanwhile, the rest of us hung out doing outside-y things.

Our veggie patch is being very generous.

Pond dipping with friends. One friend successfully managed to fall in which became a cool story after she had dried off.

Investigating bones. Why do my children like investigating bones so much? Sigh.

Building a shelter.

Bone drumsticks. As you do.

Training for the District Regatta Rowing Competition.

Newt discovery. Always a good reason to grin.

Cookies. Panda Girl cooked these on her own for the first time. They were yum!

"The hosepipe is too loud!"

Planting the Pumpkin Patch

Chess and muddy knees.

Monkey Girl taught The Boy and now they all play!

Birthday Party!
