Spring Part 2

We've been a little distracted this week because we had a beautiful someone's birthday with time off for family, including big sisters coming home. We've also had a bunch of appointments going on but Sunbaby squeezed in some fun Spring stuff including a trip to the farm...

We read some lovely Spring books about rabbits. Our little light tree has been well used this week too. 

These two hang out ALL DAY LONG

The Boy

An update on my Boy

He's doing really well with his Grade 8 Classical Curriculum. Two terms in and ready for his third quarter. Dyslexic thinkers for the win! 

He's been teaching himself guitar since we gave up on guitar teachers several years ago. It suits him much better and he plays for the love of it now.

Fresh air

Alongside his US High School Diploma preparation year, he's also studying an Astronomy GCSE

Last month he won Gold in District Individual Piping and District Team Piping. He's off to Area next! 

His quiet study space 

He's also working hard on his red tag Taekwondo belt, and he's off on rugby tour next month with his team. In between it all, he swims, has joined the gym, and attends Royal Marines Cadets twice a week. He's booked for Cadets Summer Camp, is starting his Duke of Edinburgh bronze, and he's looking to complete his first offshore voyage before the year is out.
